His Hajj and Umrah ﷺ

His Hajj ﷺ

The Prophet ﷺ performed Hajj from Medina only once; it was the Farewell Hajj, and it is the greatest Hajj in Islam. In it the Prophet ﷺ gathered the people and delivered to them his great sermon which contained the fundamentals of Islam and the rights of human beings.

His Umrah ﷺ

The Prophet ﷺ performed four Umrahs, all in Dhu al‑Qi'dah:

• The Umrah of Hudaybiyyah (6 AH) — he was prevented from it, so he performed it the following year
• The Umrah of Qada (7 AH) — which was his second Umrah ﷺ
• The Umrah of al‑Ja'rana (8 AH)
• The Umrah of the Farewell Hajj (10 AH)
