Al-Madāʾiḥ an-Nabawiyya — the great odes in praise of the Prophet ﷺ: al-Būṣīrī's Burda and Hamziyya, Kaʿb ibn Zuhayr's Bānat Suʿād, and Ahmad Shawqī's Nahj al-Burda and Wulida al-Hudā, verse by verse with translated meanings.

Prophetic praise poetry (al-madāʾiḥ an-nabawiyya) is a venerable Islamic poetic art devoted to extolling the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, recounting his noble character and qualities, and expressing longing to visit him and the sacred places. It arose at the dawn of Islam with the poets among the Companions and developed through the ages into an independent poetic genre in its own right.
