The Multiplied Reward: One Blessing Returns Tenfold

«مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيَّ صَلَاةً وَاحِدَةً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرَ صَلَوَاتٍ، وَحُطَّتْ عَنْهُ عَشْرُ خَطِيئَاتٍ، وَرُفِعَتْ لَهُ عَشْرُ دَرَجَاتٍ»

Whoever sends one blessing upon me, God will send ten blessings upon him, erase ten of his sins, and raise him ten degrees.

This hadith establishes a remarkable spiritual economy: the person who sends blessings receives far more than they offer. The Prophet ﷺ explicitly taught that a single act of Salawat triggers a tenfold response from God — in blessings, in the erasure of sins, and in elevation of rank.

Sheikh Abdullah Siraj al-Din notes that God's salah upon the one who sends blessings is itself of the highest order — His mercy, pleasure, exaltation, and praise of that person. This is not merely a quantitative multiplier but a qualitative transformation: the servant's humble words are met with the Creator's direct attention and care.
