His signs and Allah's support for him ﷺ
The eternal miracle of the Qur'an
The greatest miracle of the Prophet ﷺ is the Qur'an, which is the only miracle that will remain until the Day of Resurrection. Its miraculous nature is manifold: a miracle of eloquence and rhetoric that the eloquent Arabs could not match; a miracle in informing about the unseen; and a miracle in the ease with which it is memorized even by children.
- Rhetorical miracle: He challenged the Arabs to produce a single surah like it, and they were unable.
- A miracle of the unseen: He foretold the victory of the Romans and the conquest of Mecca before they occurred.
- A legislative miracle: He gathered the sciences of Shari'ah, etiquette, and wisdom into one book.
- Preserved in the hearts — the only nation whose book is preserved by both young and old.
His noble acts and blessings in life ﷺ
Among his signs ﷺ is the alteration of things he touched or handled. On the authority of Anas ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him: the people of Medina were once alarmed, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ rode a horse of Abu Talhah that had been considered slow; after he rode it, it could no longer be matched — [Muttafaqun 'alayh].
- The slow horse became impossible to rival after he rode it ﷺ
- Jabir's camel, which had exhausted its strength, became vigorous by the blessing of his touch ﷺ
- Hairs from his head ﷺ were a cause of victory for Khalid ibn al-Walid in his battles
- An empty ghee-skin container was filled by the blessing of his supplication ﷺ
Allah's provision of angels for him and the obedience and conversion of the jinn ﷺ
Among his special qualities ﷺ is that Allah supplied him with angels, and the jinn obeyed him and embraced Islam through him. Allah the Exalted said: 'When you asked your Lord for help, He answered you: I will reinforce you with a thousand angels, following one another.' (al-Anfal 8:9).
- Allah reinforced him with angels at the battles of Badr, Uhud, the Trench, and others
- The jinn listened to his recitation, embraced Islam, and became preachers among their people
- The angels continually send blessings upon him ﷺ out of reverence and honor
