His Hijrah ﷺ

He ﷺ commanded his companions and those with him that a group of Muslims should emigrate to Medina, then Allah granted him permission to depart. He set out with Abu Bakr, and they remained in the Cave of Thawr for three days; then on their journey they passed by Umm Mu'bad al-Zarā'iyya, and then arrived at Quba on Monday (12 Rabi' al-Awwal).

  • His departure ﷺ from Mecca on the night of Friday (24 Safar)
  • His staying in the Cave of Thawr for three days with Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him
  • His entry into Medina on Monday, 12 Rabi' al-Awwal
  • His lodging ﷺ in the house of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari for seven months
