Signs of Prophethood ﷺ
The noble chest was split four times
The first of the perceptible signs of prophethood was the splitting of his noble chest ﷺ, and this happened to him four times: the first was during his time with Halimah al‑Sa'diyah when he was four years old, according to the authentic report. The second was when he was ten years old. The third was at the coming of revelation when he was informed of prophethood. The fourth was on the night of al‑Isrā' and al‑Miʿrāj, as reported in the Two Sahihs.

Seal of Prophethood
Among the signs of prophethood is the seal of prophethood. The most commonly reported description is that it was like a pigeon's egg, and that it was a small raised piece of flesh — that is, elevated — on his back at the hollow of his left shoulder; it shone with light, was clothed in awe, and exhaled the wird. The People of the Book recognized this seal among the descriptions of the Prophet ﷺ in their books.
